BRANCEPETH PARISH COUNCIL

Brancepeth Parish Council Chairman's Report 2018-2019

The Council met in May and Christine Jones was elected Chairperson and Philip Pickles Vice Chair.

2 Benches have been restored.

The Community Speedwatch Team continues with their regular monitoring of speeding through the village.

The Defibrillator has been fitted to the outside of the Village Hall , I have arranged for 2 members of St John’s Ambulance to come and give a talk and demonstration of the defibrillator on Saturday morning of the 8th June at 10am.

Philip Pickles and Jim Merrington resigned as a Parish Councillors we thank them for the time they have devoted to the Parish Council in the past.

Sheila Chapman has replaced Philip Pickles.

A meeting was held to discuss the lighting in the Village Street a good turnout and the findings were sent to DCC, as yet no reply.

The allotments have had work done on several trees, the field also has had fences replaced. Proposals for the use of the field have been listened to but no further action taken as yet.

The BPC has continued to support the BCA.
